A slightly more adventurous picnic spot than some, but what a view!

We recommend the chairlift at the Glencoe Mountain Resort to get you up from the valley floor up to 2200ft, then a walk up a well defined but uneven and steep path to the viewpoint. The casual visitor is probably not going to be hauling any major picnicking equipment or supplies up there, but there are great rocks to sit on for a wee snack and contemplation of the surrounding landscape.
